Up for auction is a wonderful find. This book was published July 1945 in Occupied Germany and edited by 1st. Lt. Daniel P. O'Connor. T are 186 pages. It is called "329 "Buckshot" Infantry Regiment, A History". Printed in the Printing Office Ernst Fischer, Wolfenbuttel (Germany). This is a book covering history of the 329th Infantry. It states that the history was taken from the official records of the 329th Infantry. The commander was Colonel Edwin B. Crabill. History was written by: Historian Sgt. Raymond J. Goguen, Artist- Sgt. Harry Curtis and Clerks Cpl. Douglas M. Hawley adn Pfc. John E. Burns. This information comes from the book. The book consist of The Colonel's Message, Officers, Training, Combat, Awards adn Decorations, Data of Interest concerning the Regiment, Wounded In Action, Losses In Action, Killed In Action. This book covers it all. It also comes with the box it was shipped home in. Shipped from N.Y. to Huttonsville, West Virginia. The gentleman is listed in the book on pg. 168 under wounded in action, enlisted men, Luxembourg and Germany 15 Sept 1944- Dec 1944. The page number was circled in pen. The book and it's box is 9 1/2" x 8 1/2". The condition of the book and it's mailing box is used. The back side of the box has separated (pictured) and shows w tape had been used.
