A beautifully styled pair of matching sterling silver trophy compotes. The compotes were presented at the 1945 Broomall Horse Show in Broomall, PA. and are engraved as such on the base. They measure 6 1/2" in height and 5 1/2" inches diameter across the top. Their condition is near immaculate with no apparent damage and minimal, if any, surface wear. The silver retains great brilliance and any dark spots in the pics are only reflections. Stamped on the underside 'sterling, weighted, reinforced'. No monograms or maker's marks. This is a very elegant duo with nicely featd edges. They present quite nicely and would be wonderful table accents as serving pieces or for the serious collector. Nice items.
