This listing represents a first for me and must have for the serious World War II European Theater or Military Police Collector. Here you have a 1945, theater published, history of MP Operations and Contributions to the War effort in Europe. The 32 page booklet is in excellent condition.This booklet was one of a series published with the blessings of the Headquarters of the European Theater of Operations, United States Army. This War Department, overseas made booklet, focused on the contributions of the Military Police in the European Theater. The 32 page book has a forward by Major General Milton A. Reckord along with text and riveting pictures of MPs in action.The booklet is entitled, The Story of the Corps of Military Police. For a small booklet, it address numerous personal experiences of heroism, meritorious service, etc, of MPs. The booklet gives the names and ranks of the soldiers whose personal experiences appear in print. The booklet covers everything from MPs in combat, to guarding cross roads, railroad stations, trains, and supply dumps, to herding prisoners. There is a two fold approach to the book, highlighting combat related activities and criminal investigations.
