Standard photograph album with black paper, My Tour of Duty With the Air Force, By S/Sgt. Lee Harry Archibee. Presented on his 23rd birthday in 1945. Includes patch on title page, 3 photographs, and newspaper articles. Newspaper articles include Mission numbers, date and Target. Example: page two has an article, "Berlin Gets 1st Big Day Bombing." Written on page: Mission No. 6, March 6, 1944, Target Berlin Germany. Not every mission listed that he served on, but was on more than 30. About 20 pp. in all and lot of newspaper information that was never placed in the album. Includes order w received Distinguished Flying Cross as a ball turret gunner on a B-17, Meritorius Achievement for 5 Combat Missions, 2 Oak Leaf Cluster with 92nd Bomber Group H, Technical School certificate, and Training School certificate. Bidder to pay $5.00 shipping. Home address was Pulaski, New York. Title page is loose. Some edge dings to black paper as would be common.
