Excellent condition unused complete deck of original 1946 Dr Pepper advertising Playing Cards featuring the "Dr Pepper girl" on them. The pack cover says "Bridge size". It has all of the original inserts including the original 1946 calendar card. It also includes the original playing rules card and the original packing inspection slip from the "Remembrance Advertising" trade-mark playing cards company i.e. Brown & Bigelow St Paul, Minnesota in it. The Remembrance Advertising Co. started making advertising calendars, clocks, blotters, and playing cards, etc. begining around the year 1919. The pack cover also still retains its original "opened" seal on it. The complete deck of 52 cards, pack cover, the1946 calendar card, the joker, plus the other inserts are all in excl. condition. Dr Pepper only produced playing cards in the years 1946 and 1947. They only made two different playing card decks one in the year 1946 and one in 1947. The Dr Pepper girl shown and featured on this 1946 deck is considered the most desireable. The colors, and graphics are all clear, clean and bright. They must have been kept in a keepsake trunk or drawer all of these years out of light and not much handling use as the condition indicates.
