"Paradise of The Pacific" began publication in 1888. Commissioned by King Kalakaua, it promoted local business and tourism by assuring citizens of the United States that the islands were civilized. The issue offered here is from December, 1946. It measures 9 x 12 inches and contains 96 pages plus 26 pages of advertising.As for condition, covers shows light signs of age and handling, a few small tears at spine. Contents are tight and clean.
