The INDIANS OF THE AMERICAS by John Collier was published 1947 by W.W. Norton & Co., 1st edition measuring 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" with 326 pages, b+w photos, index, reading list and map endpapers. "...more than a historical survey of a glamorous past. It is a spiritual adventure in understanding a way of life..." T is a small stain at the top page edge not extending to the interior; the book is solid and otherwise clean with just light agewear. The dustjacket has tape repairs to the reverse and edgewear including a large chip at upper front. It has been placed in a protective cover. Thank you.
