SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PHOTOS Lionel O-Gauge 2-6-2 Locomotive & TenderUp for auction is this vintage 1940s Lionel Model Trains FIRST GENERATION Variation A O-Gauge #675 Prairie Type 2-6-2 Locomotive with 6466WX Whistle Tender in great overall condition. The Prairie Type 2-6-2 Locomotive No. 675 was based on the Pennsylvania Railroad’s Class K-4 Pacific locomotive. This is an all-metal combo, and has been tested for basic functionality with working light, transport and air whistle. This does show some light wear, but for it's age this is in remarkably good condition. We do not know if the smoke mechanism functions. This appears to be a variation A from 1947 - the front keystone decal reads "675" in silver, this has the aluminum smokestack and original front pilot without simulated coupler. The tender is the slightly later era 6466WX with magnetic couplers and air whistle which works great. Both pieces come in the original outer box, although they are not in great condition with both ends missing. More info on the 675 Loco can be found HERE .
