The specimens in this listing is Wolf Creek meteorite lot of fragments, weighs 13.7 grams the largest one is 1.0 gram and is 16 X 9 X 6 mm in size. It will come as pictured along with a specimen / certificate of authenticity from the Kansas Meteorite Society. This Wolf Creek Crater in Kimberly, Western Australia was first noticed from the air during June of 1947. Fragments of this iron-shale meteorite were found in abundant on the Southwest part of the large circular crater's rim during the first expedition to study the feature. The crater itself is one of the largest and best preserved impact structures on the earth. At the time of discovery, only the Arizona Crater was the only other known such feature, and some even doubted it. The Wolf Creek meteorite is classified as an iron medium octahedrite, 0.85mm, IIIB.
