You are bidding on a 1948-49 Zippo ad lighter for FOXBILT feeds. This Zippo was used enough to wear a small flat spot on the cam. The 3 barrel hinge has its original pin in it. The top closes true flush & doesn’t wobble when closed. There’s some wobble when it’s open. The graphics were 3 colors. The original red did a good job of staying intact. About 90% is still there. Only traces, of the white paint in FOXBILT feeds & the blue paint that borders it, are visible. This case has 99% of the chrome intact. The lower left corner is dented in a little & there’re small dents in the corners on the top. There’s a single small dent on top of the top. There's a really shallow crease dent in the front top & that’s all. The top of the top has dings but they’re all tiny. There are light surface scratches in the chrome & a few light scuffs. The insert is the correct nickel alloy original. It fits well. The cam wear matches the groove in the stop & the action is smooth. It sparks well. The spring is strong & the cam There’s no wear groove in the meeting edges because of this. I think that the wick was pulled out because, for some reason, I removed the cotton from the fuel cell & lightly cleaned the outside of the insert. The cotton that’s left is yellowish & wants to stick to the inside of the insert like something other than lighter fluid was
