Fron what information I have researched it seems that the cups and saucers are rare(McIntyre)... And to have a saucer topmarked is almost unheard of... This standard sized coffee cup measures 2&1/2 inches tall and the saucer is 6 inches in diameter... There are no cracks, chips, glaze wear or other defects to this remarkable set... There is some normal glaze wear where the cup was placed on the saucer... Also the logo on the saucer does have one tiny scratch on it... The logos are huge, being 1&1/8 inches tall and 1&5/8 inches across... The date code on the cup is 1948... The datecode on the saucer is 10-BB which is(I think) 1947... Because this beautiful Cup & Saucer is listed here with a very low minimum bid and no reserve it may sell well below its true value.
