Up for auction is a LOT of 8 (February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November) of Roy Rogers comic book from 1948 . CONDITION : February: VG: lies flat; pages are cream; no spine roll; 2 lower corner folds; chipping at top/bottom of spine and edge front cover; good eye appeal; 2 lower corner folds; chipping at top/bottom of spine and one on front edge; small 1/4" tear on the back cover and margin of two back pages March : VG: lies flat; pages are cream; cover shiny and has good eye appeal; no spine roll; 1/4" tear at top of cover; 1/4" crease at lower corner through to back cover; fold top corner of back cover; minor stress lines at spine; extra set of staples at binding (one set through interior pages and another set through entire book April : VG-: lies flat; pages are cream; shows wear but colours are reflective; slight spine roll; vertical crease on front cover; tear (3/8") on front cover, top near center; tear (3/8") on back cover, bottom edge, near center; chipping at lower spine; centerfold loose from top staple May: VG-: lies flat; no spine roll; centerfold tight; inside pages cream to very light tan; inside cover is tan; 266 written in pencil above "R" in "Roy" on front cover; stress cuts and creases from spine; small circle discoloration near top corner front cover; cover semi-detached from inside at lower staple; minor corner bends on front cover; chip at lower spine and lower staple June: G: lies flat; no spine roll; centerfold tight; pages cream to very light tan; vertical crease on front cover; cover separated from inner pages; tears at staples; small circle of light discoloration on Roy's hat; 3/8" corner bend top cover; wear on spine; 3/4" edge tear on back cover near top September: VG: lies flat; no spine roll; centerfold tight; pages cream; cover reflective; stress creases at spine and lower stape; 2 tears on edge back cover (3/8" and 1/2"); small pink discoloration on back cover October: VG-: reflective cover; vibrant colours; pages cream; no spine roll; tight centerfold; minor small stress creases at spine; chip lower corner front cover; stress lower staple; scuff-like marking on front cover over Roy's face (printing defect??) reduces this from a fine (F) rating November : VG: reflective cover; pages cream to light tan; no spine roll; tight centerfold; corner bend and small tear same location on front cover; stress lines at spine; back cover has toning in white border I DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THE ITEMS UP FOR AUCTION.
