This auction is for an extremely nice medal commemorating the Port Authority of New York International Airport Dedication in 1948. It is also considered a So-Called Dollar and is categorized in the Hibler-Kappen reference guide as HK-499. It is in almost uncirculated condition, is made of gold-plated (gilt) bronze, and is 34.5mm in diameter. Grading is subjective, so please look at the super-sizable pictures and grade for yourself.I will start this listing true auction style at one penny with no reserve. Shipping for USPS First Class Mail in a 6x9 padded envelope with the medal in a 2x2 secured between two pieces of corrugated cardboardwill be an extra $2.95, which I think should be pretty close to my actual cost.
