Original old items relating to the City of London Solent - booklet, newspaper clippings and official information sheet - Commemorating 30 years of British Commercial Air Transportation - London May 5th 1949 - BOAC - the booklet/ brochure measures 25.5cms x 19cms - some soiling and crease handling wear to the front and back card cover, rubbing to the spine, staples rusted; 8 sides long and with great photos inside; 4 newspaper clippings; then the Air News sheet which measures 20cms x 33cms - a bit of writing in pencil to the back blank sheet - 3 sides long - B.O.A.C Solent's Visit to London - First Flying Boat on Thames for 21 Years - all the details about the arrival to come, where the plane will be moored, history, description of the plane - date 5th May 1949 - Press Section sheets - sheets stapled and folded in half and down the middle - please see photos.
