Up for auction is a large an early "1949" WILDROOT BARBERSHOP HAIR TONIC SIGN. Says: "ASK FOR WILDROOT". Dated: 1949 and signed: SPILLER - BATAVIA, N.Y.. All original. Has 6 mounting holes for hanging. Enameled painted tin sign with very bright and shiny colors. The letters and old Barber Pole Light are all embossed outwards and really stand out. Measures 27 7/8" long x 9 3/4" wide. A nice large old sign. Beautiful original condition. No cuts, touch ups or repairs. The sign does show some bends on the top left side. Shows paint wear on the right side edge. Bright and shiny colors in red and blue raised out letters. Beautiful old yellow painted background. Nice old embossed Barber Shop Pole. The back side is painted green and is also in very good condition (No rust). Great old Patina. (64 years old!) Great Barbershop Collector's addition. Please see all pictures and ask any questions.
