AMAZING piece of early House of David Amusement Park history, this one found laying at the bottom of the valley inside the old park, on top of a pile of things there were being prepared to be burned! The House of David Baseball Field was replaced with the campground/travel trailor park in 1950, and the bottom of the old baseball sign was converted to say "Travel Trailor Park" rather than "Baseball Park". We were going to try to strip off the outer layer of paint to reveal whats underneath, but we know nothing about how to do this, so we're leaving that up to the next person!! Its a great piece of House of David Park history, and is quite large (roughly 12' across x , 6' tall) and will need to be either picked up, or you can check with us for a price to deliver it. The sign has hung in the House of David Baseball Museum for the past 2 decades, and is now being offered for sale to the public for the first time EVER!! It is quite eye catching, and large, and made out of tin. It was an amazing advertising sign that used to hang at the entrance to the House of David Amusement Park. This is a super rare piece of H of D memorabilia, and will compliment anyone's collection for either early Michigan baseball, steam engine railroads, or just a neat old primitive sign found right on the abandoned grounds of the House of David!!
