Offered is a beautiful a vintage Madame Alexander, Louisa M Alcott's Little Women, "MARME" doll with original curler set. Vintage 1950. A FASHION ACADEMY AWARD Doll. 14" tall. Margaret face. Marme did not appear in the first hard plastic set that came out in 1948. In the 1950 series, Marme, Amy, & Meg have the straight nose characteristic of the Alexander facial type, called Margaret. Excellent, pristine doll. Back bottom, of dress, ever so slight fading and mark on underside. Not bad. Originally came with the curler and comb set in cute suitcase style box. Wrist tag. Lavender taffeta dress with purple velvet front, trimmed with white beaded trim. Petticoat, matching lace pantaloons, shiny knitted socks, and black mary janes W/ bow decoration. Dress label attached. Beautiful shimmering rooted synthetic hair with net. FREE shipping includes insurance to the US. Thank you very much.
