1950 Norman Granz Jazz Philharmonic Program * Ella Fitzgerald, Buddy Rich Norman Granz Jazz at the Philharmonic 1950 Tour Program This scarce jazz concert program is from the 10th tour of Norman Granz Jazz at the Philharmonic. It features some of the greats of the day; Flip Phillips, Buddy Rich, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Bill Harris, Oscar Peterson, Hank Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, etc.. . Softcover, staple bound program. 24 pages including covers. Features a fantastic piece of cover art by David Stone Martin. Measures 8.5" wide by 11" tall. Condition is excellent, very slight wear to spine, pages are crisp and clean (see images - sorry for the blue tone to the pages as it is from lighting, pages are bright white). This would make a fantastic addition to your Jazz collection. This program can command prices of $125 and up, I list it here at a very low opening bid with no reserve.
