1950 Truetone Model D-2017 "Boomerang" Radio - RESTORED! You are bidding on an electronically restored Vintage Truetone Model D-2017 "Boomerang" Radio. This radio has been electronically restored. The capacitors have all been replaced with new components. The tubes have been checked and replaced as needed. The tuner has been aligned for maximum performance across the AM broadcast band. The radio plays loud and clear on all AM frequencies. The beautiful brown Bakelite case is in excellent condition except for a fairly sizable crack on the lower right side of the cabinet which has been repaired (see 3rd photo). It is not noticeable when the radio is on display. T is some mild staining on the original grille cloth. Knobs are original. The cord is new. The radio measures 15" across. This excellent playing radio will make a great addition to your radio collection and/or retro Fifties decor. Paypal & USA Shipping Only . Please do not ask for exceptions.
