This auctionis for a Classic Art Deco styled Coffee Percolator made by the Manning-Bowman Company in 1950. This Vintage pot holds approximately 24 cups and is in Excellent working condition. It comes complete with the original grounds basket and pump tube. This Art Deco Beauty is made of Chrome and is accented in Butterscotch colored Bakelite. The tall arched handle folds forward and is fitted with a smooth shiny Bakelite grip. It features a Bakelite spigot handle at the front with an on/off twist. The base is also Bakelite and all appear to be in excellent undamaged condition. The detachable electric cord is included. The cord appears to be in excellent condition, and came with it when I purchased it about 10 years ago, but I am not sure if it is original to it. This pot is 14 ½ inches tall with the handle in the up position and 12 ½ inches to the top of the glass bulb. It is about 10 1/2 inches wide. The Serial number on the base is 6-50 which indicates that it was made in June 1950. The Chrome finish on this sp shaped pot is super shiny and in great condition. T is only one very tiny ding, and it is so small that I couldn't get it to show up in the photos, but to be accurate I want to mention it.
