For your consideration is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pick up a huge stack of original records from the garage of Hall of Fame NASCAR driver Cotton Owens. The vast majority of these records date from 1958 to 1963, during the prime of Owens' driving career! There are probably 200 or more documents here, some more interesting than others, ranging from gas receipts to shipping documents from Chrysler. These pages show wear from general usage and filing, but are generally clean (a few have grease fingerprints, which is kind of cool).A couple of these documents feature handwritten notes from Cotton, which were folded and carried in his wallet (Cheat notes for interviews, I believe. See photos). I thought about selling these a few documents at a time, but it would probably be best to keep this historic collection intact. Owens was chosen as one of the Top 50 NASCAR Drivers of All-Time, and is in the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
