For Auction tonight is a Very Rare 1950's Fenton #1722 diamond optic ivy ball & base in the *LIME OPALESCENT* color. This comes with the origional Emerald Green diamond shape base that is usually missing!! The finish is the Glossy type; NOT satin. This Rare color and this set is Very hard to find in todays market! I have owned this piece for many years,but am thinning out lots from my collection. The overall condition of this is ; VERY MINTY!!,but a little dusty from sitting around all these years. T are NO; Chips, Nicks, Bubbles, Scratching, Staining, or Repairs and the ivt ball measures: 4" tall x 2" across the top opening x 4" across the center x 2&1/2" across the base. The base measures: 7&3/4" long x 4&3/4" across. Very Nice Colors, & Clean!!This still has the origional Silver Fenton lable present. Production was Very limited from 1952-1954.If you don't have this piece in your collection you surely are missing out! You will get complaments about this, and just in time for any upcoming occasion.
