Foley bone china creamer, used in the 1950's aboard the RMS Queen Mary, of the Cunard Steamship Co. The manufacturer's mark includes Stoniers LIverpool, which is the company that brokered and distributed the china to The Cunard Steamship Co., Ltd. The Stoniers Company was located in Liverpool England. 2 1/2" square and 4" high, holds 8 oz. It looks perfect from the outside, no chips or crazing but a very minor hairline crack on the inside bottom of creamer. What may appear to be a crack in the last picture is just the top of the creamer handle; the crack I am referring to doesn't show up in pictures. I have reduced the price to reflect this.I'm willing to bet that this was one of the first mid-century modern china patterns made and that the Cunard Steamship Co. was way ahead of it's time in choosing this pattern to use aboard their ships. Of course, this is just an opinion. For anyone that wants more information about the RMS Queen Mary, use the book app on your iphone and get Gary Chambers "RMS Queen Mary Manual". A wonderful book for ship enthusiasts. This is not my book and I make nothing off the sale, I am just passing on information.
