Distinctive comet and tail grill on this early Koyo transistor radio from Japan.It was rebranded at the factory under the Weston name. It is marked KoyoKR-6TS1 on the case and 6TS1T on the label inside the case. Other than a fewscratches from almost 70 years of age the radio case has no cracks and themetal grill and dial feature has no extensive oxidation. Please see all photosfor clear illustration of condition.I inserted 4- 1.5V batteries and thought, at first, I heard static from the speaker.I was unable to duplicate (maybe battery contacts need cleaning) so it is beingsold as non-working for display, parts, or restoration with no warranties. Thetransistor radio measurements are 5 1/4 X 3 1/2 X 1 5/8.
