1950s Montblanc 342 black Model: Montblanc 342 Color: black System: piston Size: 12 cm (4.7 inches) Nib: original Montblanc 14c (585) nib with medium tip (M) Condition: excellent Features and additional information about this pen You are bidding on a Montblanc 342 pen from the 1950s. The pen comes in black color with a light-brown ink-view window, indicating the first production of the 342-series (later 342s came in white ink windows!). All imprints on the cap (MONTBLANC) and on the piston's turning knob (342G and M for the matching nib) are deep and clear. Also, the cap top shows the Montblanc star imprint. The pen comes without cracks, dents, hairlines, or deep scratches. T is no brassing on the cap band and some brassing on the clip. The clip band is moving slightly (very common for this model). The piston mechanism is in working condition and holds ink perfectly. Overall, the condition of the pen is at least excellent. It shows minor signs of usage. Pen comes in its original Montblanc card-box (with matching model number imprint 342) and with its original instruction sheet in Dutch. I will ship by registered, non insured airmail, worldwide.
