1950S NATURAL ANGEL SKIN CORAL LARGE BEAD NECKLACE This beautiful natural angel skin coral necklace comes from the personal collection of Patti Cadby Birch. Ms. Birch was a socialite in New York City and was a member of the board of both The Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum. Ms.Birch was a Persian specialist and had a personal collection of jewelry. This is one of those pieces. This listing is for a fine natural and exceptional angel skin coral necklace from the 1950s. The coral in this necklace is the most desirable light pink coral with darker coral highlights. The necklace consists of 44 matched hand tied 11 mm round angel skin coral beads. All of the beads are matched in color are perfectly round. The necklace measures 21 1/2 inches or 55 cm long. T he catch is open worked yellow gold and marked 14k.
