**RARE** 1950's ~~ Vintage Retro Chic~~ Shawnee Kenwood Pottery Lazy Susan/Salad Condiment Service This stunning Art Deco style set made by Kenwood is the upscale, chic line of Shawnee Pottery out of Zanesville, Ohio known for their whimsical cookie jars, salt and pepper shakers and more. The company went out of business in 1961. This set is a rare Lazy Susan made in the Iconic Pink and Black of the 1950's. The bowls are pink footed with a copper metalic rim matching the frame for the whole set. The shiny black cruets have pink stoppers with O for oil and V for vinegar that coordinate with the pink bowls. The white deco style salt and pepper shakers are a nice contrast and add another dimension of color and lines. All of the pieces are free from cracks, chips, crazing, stains or anyother defects that most pottery pieces suffered over the years of use. The frame is sturdy and turns smoothly. I purchased this piece at an ohio estate sale and if it was ever used I would be surprised. Would make a great gift for the person who "has everything"!
