Offering for sale: A very unusual BREAKFAST CEREAL PREMIUM SET marketed by NABISCO SHREDDED WHEAT from the 1950s . While there is no date on any of the items, the promo is something I remember seeing as a kid growing up in the 1950s. Originally Shredded Wheat cereal was a large-sized "biscuit" that barely fit in a bowl. Five of the seven images her were cut, one pair of images is still connected as originally found in the box (see photos). The images were numbered and this lot includes Wild Animal images 5 and (the two that are still connected on one card) ///// 7 and 8 (which have been cut apart) ///// 12 ///// and, 15 and 16 (also cut apart). Three of the cut cards have a bit of crayon scribbling on the back. The uncut card is in read more
