FRENCH ROSSIGNOL SCHOOL POSTER VINTAGE 1950'S/60'S SHOWING WARS OF THE REVOLUTION 1789/02 ON ONE SIDE THE EMPIRE OF NAPOLE ON 1, EUROPE IN 1810 ON OTHER SIDE Th ese amazing large vintage French school posters were printed in the 1950s and 60's by Rossignol This map is No.16 in a series of French historical maps. Both sides of the map are political maps of Europe during the rule of Napoleon 1 S ide 1 shows Napoleon 1's empire, Europe in 1810. Side 2 shows French aquisitions from 1789 - 1802. It is in very good condition considering it's age with wear to the edges - please look at photos. These could mostly be ironed out and /or a small slither could be guillotined to give cleaner edges It measures approximately 93cm x 78.5cm . The y are clearly fascinating and educational but also become statement pi eces when used in a home / office decor I have 7 other maps from the same series that I intend to list over the next few weeks.
