This true vintage 100% rayon Hawaiian shirt is a classic! Featuring a full figure Hawaiian pineapple farmer harvesting his crop in a four (4) color screen print on a dark blue background. The front of this shirt features two (2) chest slip pockets and collar in the same pattern material which really stands out once again against the blue background. It has ALL of the original blue plastic buttons with horizontal button holes as well as the smaller white plastic top collar button and fabric loop. The inside collar label is from "ALOHA KANAKA" Original by Artvogue and it is a mens size SMALL with some of the actual measurements being: 20" across chest lying flat and buttoned armpit to armpit, 16" across rear yolk seam, shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 23" from buttoned top collar to bottom edge of shirt and 8 3/4" sleeve length from top shoulder seam to edge of sleeve. This shirt is in good vintage condition but t are several flaws I need to mention. T are a couple of holes in the pattern material on top of both shoulders (see pics.) These are hard to notice at first glance due to the blue rayon backing material in this area and that it is a "busy" pattern and they somewhat get lost BUT they are t!! T are several tiny frays-pinholes throughout the shirt. A couple on the left front pocket (too small to photo) another on the front left panel a few inches below the pocket (see pics.) another on the back an inch or so from the pickers right leg (see pics.). T are also a couple of small "smudges" or slight discolorations, one on the front and one on the back (see pics.) which are very light and may even come out in a hand wash or dry cleaning which I have NOT done. These again are very small imperfections and in NO way deter from the overall great look and wearability of this fine vintage piece which is 50 + years old !! This shirt is truly a beauty and hopefully the accompanying photos will convey just how strong and vivid the colors still are. Another shirt just like this one is shown in "The ALOHA SHIRT" book by Dale Hope on page 196. So bid crazy, bid often BUT bid with confidence that you will be getting a RARE and very collectible classic Hawaiian rayon shirt that will be sure to turn heads w ever it is worn !! Please e-mail me before bidding if t are any questions or additional information needed. Thanks for looking---ALOHA and GOOD LUCK !!
