I recently acquired this little goodie @ an estate sale; I had the pleasure of visiting w/ the gentleman that owned it! He's 93 and was able to tell me a lot about the goods I had purchased. This ZIPPO lighter was given to him when he worked for this company in Lafayette, IN. As you can see from the photos- everything is ALL GOOD! I have since managed to erase most of his name from the front of the box. (I was careful not to remove color from the box) I did some research on this; found out that this is a 5 Barrel hinge; mfgd. sometime in the 1951-52 era. Can't believe this little dandy is in SUCH GOOD SHAPE! Does have some light scratches on both sides(from being carried) and has Levi's initials on the backside.
