1952 26" MENS SCHWINN HORNET BALLOON TIRE BICYCLE FRAME At auction this week is a 1952 SCHWINN 26" HORNET mens bicycle frame. It was rescued from an old bike shop that I am helping to liquidate. This frame is green I believe and is in very good shape structurally with no welds. It is straight and would be great for your re-build project or rat-rod project. This frame features the straight lower bar on the frame. The seat post measures 17.5 inches from the top of the post to the top of the crank housing. The crank housing is 2 7/8 inches wide. The frame measures about 41" from front to back. The serial number on the rear left dropout of this bicycle is F15348. Please check my feedback and .
