1952 VINTAGE 14 x 11 COLOR PHOTO Jose Ferrer as Toulouse-Lautrec MOULIN ROUGE FOT#54752Jose Ferrer as Henri Toulouse-Lautrec in John Huston's 1952 Movie MOULIN ROUGE . Photographed by Eric Grey, a stills photographer based for much of his career at Shepperton Studios in London. . Jose Ferrer appears in a costume by Marcel Vertes who won the Best Costumes Academy Award, but presumably not for Toulouse-Lautrec's character. Directed by John Huston and released in 1952 by United Artists. . DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: 14.5" x 11.25" Glossy color photograph, not matted. Signed Eric Gray in orange ink. VERY GOOD condition with light handling to corners but no general creasing or tears. Marks on back indicate provenance. . PROVENANCE: The image is one of a number of stills produced for the film. This one appears to have been matted in a frame, and based on its recent origin, was probably accumulated after a move from an office or studio and signed by the artist at that time.
