1954 Detroit Creamery Dairy Crate ~ Risdon Bros. Inc. ~ 13.5" X 10" X 11" For your consideration is this outstanding true vintage dairy crate from the long defunct Risdon Creamery in Detroit. Dated 06-(19)54. This crate remains strong and sturdy. The overall condition is excellent. See photos. Stamped on two side panels: "PROPERTY OF RISDON BROS. INC.....DETROIT.....06-54.....DEPOSIT 1.00" There are two cut out handles for easy carrying, and metal strip corners for durability. The print is clear and clean! Yoyu will be hardpressed to find another in better condition. Only issue to note is a small chip in the wood in the top corner. See photos. 10 Measures approximately 13-1/2" long x 10" wide x 11" tall. Although, I didn't weigh it, it is very "beefy".
