Don't let those cloudy soft plastic slips that the mint used during the 2nd half of the 1954 production year "cloud" your judgment about just how nice these coins are. THAT JEWEL OF A ROOSEY DIME HAS SUPERB PURE WHITE SURFACES AND A STRONGLY FROSTED REVERSE!!!! The deeeeply mirrored pure white superb gem Jefferson nickel is another beauty which is sure to please!! It’s a real blazer!! FINALLY, THE SUPERB GEM LINCOLN CENT IS A BLAZING FULL FIERY MINT RED BEAUTY!! LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MINTED YESTERDAY!! No defects can be seen through the slips on any of these coins. Folks, over recent years, many thousands of these vintage proof sets from the early 50s have been cut up for slabbing…they are getting much more scarce every year and prices are reflecting this!
