Up for your consideration is Ginny's #52 outfit from the Candy Dandy Series of 1954 and oh, what an outfit it is! It is shown on page 128 in the book the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls- 2nd Edition" by Izen and Stover. You will receive the dress, bloomers, socks, shoes and hairbow. A complete outfit. The matching hat is in another auction. Just The pale yellow printed organdy dress has a white band of printed yellow and green rick-rack trim with lace ruffles along the bottom edge of the skirt. This same ruffled lace is used around the neckline as a collar. It has a green satin ribbon sash attached to the center front waist to tie in the back. It closes with a hook and eye and there is a crispy white rayon "Medford" tag sewn on the inside. This dress is in absolutely gorgeous condition! No holes, tears or stains and the fabric is clean and crisp. The colors are bright and I do not think it has ever been washed. It is one lovely little dress!! The matching bloomers have new elastics and are also in excellent condition. No holes, tears or stains and the fabric is clean and crisp. The vintage yellow rayon socks are original Ginny socks. They are in very good condition with no holes or snags. The green oil cloth slip-on shoes are suppose to have ribbon ties. If you would prefer to have the regular Ginny marked Mary Jane shoes (green), I would be happy to trade. I just thought this dress would look better with the oil cloth shoes. This pair is in excellent condition with tight back seams and smooth soles. To complete the outfit and compliment the dress, you will receive a big green bow for Ginny's hair. It is the perfect finishing touch. This is one fabulous outfit and is very nice. You are gonna love the condition it is in. If you don't have this in your collection, here is your chance to get an extremely nice one. Don't forget to check my other items for the matching hat and some accessories that will go with this outfit. Shipping is $4.00 by First Class Mail and includes delivery confirmation.
