Mid Century 1954 Provincetown Massachusetts Cape Cod Schooner Hindu Signed by the artist F.M. Schildge Notation on the back: September 54 from a Kodachrome Slide - Provincetown Harbor Measuring @ 16 in x 20 in The artist has the Schooner as Hindoo -- but the actual ship is Hindu More info on the Schooner can be found online as the ship has been a constant in the harbor for the past 60 years or so, which makes this an early painting - The ship was one of the first to be used for whale watching!!! /wiki/Schooner_Hindu Please email with any questions--- Thank you---Pam
