1955 Omega automatic Swiss made 17 jewels man's wrist watch in fine looking & running condition, professionally serviced recently and runs fine. The caliber 490 Swiss high grade auto wind movement has 17 jewels, a shock protected balance, micrometric regulator and a sub second hand. The serial number is 14812847 which dates it to 1955 (the watch is running in the picture). The white finely textured metal dial has applied stainless markers and is in excellent original condition. The stainless hands are also in excellent condition, and the crown is a new old stock replacement. The stainless case is in excellent condition with very light wear from use, measures approximately 34mm in diameter (not including the band lugs) x 11mm thick including the crystal. The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition. The snap on case back is marked "waterproof" on the outside edge (we cannot guarantee the watch to be waterproof). The band is a nice deep dark blue soft genuine lizard model made in Italy, has a stainless clasp and will fit 6-7 inch diameter wrists.This is a fine early collectible Omega, great for daily wear, also makes a fine gift!
