Very unique vintage prints from German artist Carlo Demand. These are from a 1955 work by Demand and Roseman with a focus on Mercedes Benz and Auto Union - and the advent of motor racing. These are prints dated 1955 and are not copies or reproductions. They are fully matted and in a clear poly protective sleeve. Just add an 11x14 black frame. 1954 French Grand Prix at Rheims. Karl Kling and Juan Fangio dueled it out in the new Mercedes W196 to the final lap, with Fangio winning by a meter. These prints are of Demand's subtle charcoal's, and the red numbers on the Mercedes have been artist retouched with color. A wonderful print that you will not find anywhere else. I have a few more of these images that I will be listing with Sterling Moss, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and other racing venues around Europe. Truly hard to give these up, but I have to start winding down some of my "collections". Free shipping in the USA
