You are bidding on a 1955 United States proof set from the Philadelphia mint.I am not familiar with the early proof sets. These coins are definitely proof, but I am not sure that this is the original holder.Please excuse the glare from my photos but all of the coins are in extremely nice condition. They exhibit slight toning around edges as you can see in my photos,other than that they are very nice coins. I bought a big box of these proof sets at an estate sale and will be selling them just as soon as I can list them. The set will include a 90 percent silver Franklin half dollar,90% Washington quarter,90%Roosevelt dime, a Lincoln penny and Jefferson nickle.The shipping is $2.95 in the USA. I will combine shipping to save on shipping costs for multiple purchases.
