1956 Hermes Rocket for Sale - See Videohttps://youtu.be/vFBQcqUDXYA1956 Hermes Rocket with elite (12 characters per inch) type is in great working condition and has been taken apart, cleaned inside and out. Platen is in good working order and was cleaned and softened. A light lubricant made for typewriters was applied to moving part and screws, and there are no sticky keys, etc.Case clips on easy and secure and is the most portable typewriter around ever made to my knowledge.As with most Rocket or Baby models, the paint has been discolored in attempts to be cleaned over the years (in my opinion). Of course, with its army green color, the little machine was made to be a little workhorse rather than a show horse.I suggest the Jackeroo typing pad and flip over a mouse pad for great stability (of course, the Jackeroo comes with adhensive felt to will work better).Again, this typewriter is in great shape without an outrages asking price and will not last long.Plus, the typewriter will be at the post office the same day if you order before 2:00 EST (printing out the label doesn't count as same day shipping for me).
