1956 Original Mint Set Mint Sets Each Mint set comes with 2 coins from every mint and strike made for that year. Normally each sheet will contain an individual mint, but sometimes people used to mix them up as they preferred. It is pretty easy to spot an original mint set, once you have looked at enough of them. The toning should be consistent throughout the whole set. If a coin is not toned and the rest of the set is, good bet it might be an adoption. There is a premium paid for the set if you can get the original mailing label with the postage stamp, or maybe that is just because I am a retired Postmaster, that I pay more. :) COUNTRY: USA CONDITION: Mint Uncirculated, should be strongly struck CONTENT: 2 coins from every mint and denomination made. VALUE: These are actually difficult to find and many people like to slab these as they usually have stronger strikes. NOTES: Since I am a big fan of toned coins, I like to pick them up, IF I can find them. Pay as promptly as humanly possible, I might die if I have to wait a week or two.
