Nice collectible booklet from Seward Alaska....Seward Alaska's Annual Fourth of July Mountain Marathon No. 3593 priced at $1.00 back in 1956 55 year old booklet gives information on the History of Seward's Annual Mountain Marathon, shows many ad's from the businesses in Seward and Anchorage, two pages of pictures showing a Picture trip up Marathon, lists winners from 1915 to 1955 including mention of Benny Benson (designed Alaska State Flag) having placed 2nd in 1929, pictures of Old and New Seward up to 1956, and gives winning times of the races of which 52 minutes and 35 seconds was the record back then.. Used good condition booklet that gives great information... measures about 7.75 x 10.5, has 28 pages, some wear to the booklet with faint browning to pages, and one small crease/fold at the bottom on back cover, the right bottom corner is clipped on the first 2 pages.
