This 1957 Dodge Sweptside D100 Half-Ton Pickup is a Danbury Mint exclusive. All components are hand crafted and painted, and the model is constructed to an exact 1:24 scale of its original. The color of this model is Dodge Truck Red and Alaska White. Only 2,000 of these pickups were produced. They typically featured luxury equipment such as a custom cab with wrap-around rear window, roof mounted radio, white sidewall tires, full chrome wheel covers, chrome bumpers, power steering, power brakes and a powerful V-8 engine. The doors of this model open to reveal the detailed interior. The hood opens to reveal the incredibly detailed 315 cubic inch, 204 hp V-8 engine. There is a tailgate that opens and a removable spare tire. There is also a fully functional steering wheel. This model is in mint condition, new in the box with original unpacking and care instructions included. It has never been on display. This replica is a great Christmas gift idea and it is a must-have for antique lovers and serious collectors of 1:24 scale die cast models.
