This 7 day auction is for a vintage 1957 Gottlieb World Champ, woodrail pinball machine for restoration. As stated, this 1957 Gottlieb pinball machine is from an estate and was thought to have been in the house since the early 70's. The serial number appears to be 56701 cc (although I can't really make out if that is a cc or not). The serial number is stamped on the front of the wooden door on the front of the machine and is also hand written, in pencil, inside this wood door. We plugged the machine in when we got it and several of the lights did come on including the "tilt" sign. T is one key in the small wooden coin door on the front of the machine and this key also unlocks the back panel. Inside the small coin door are two other keys on a hook. My research tells me that t were approximately 2,000 plus of these machines made in 1956 or 1957. The pinball machine is missing the top glass, the rubber bumpers are t but are dried out, one wood rail on the left side is broken (please refer to pictures) and one metal leg has rusted off on the bottom, making the machine tilt. Please feel free to email us with any questions about this 1957 Gottlieb woodrail pinball machine (prior to bidding) and we will try, the best we can, to answer your questions. This item is for PICK UP ONLY or buyer can arrange and pay for all shipping and packing at read more
