1957 King 3B Silversonic PROFESSIONAL Trombone This instrument is a classic! I have played it for years professionally in jazz bands and musical pit orchestras. I really love this trombone, and I'm sad to see it go. It's a perfect trombone for jazz, lead bone, and solo playing. This horn really SINGS! They don't make them like they used to, so you now have an opportunity to get this vintage trombone.Solid sterling silver bell section with gold washed inner bell. Lightweight nickel slide. Nickel plated joints. .508" Medium-small bore (takes small shanked trombone mouthpieces). 100% Original! Not replated or restored!! General Condition: Very good, considering it's about 54 years old. It has a little lacquer missing throughout, and a few dents and dings from being played. This horn has not been abused. I doubt it's ever been in the hands of an amateur or beginning trombonist. THIS TROMBONE IS 100% ORIGINAL. The serial numbers on the slide and bell match. This instrument was just PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED, so it's sanitary and ready to go! Slide: In good, playable condition. 7 out of 10, I'd say, and I'm very particular about my slides. I'd rate a perfect student trombone slide at about a 5.
