This darling robe with the distinctive print is a Vogue factory original made in 1958 for Jill, big sis of Ginny. She was 10.5" tall and was Vogue's entry into the competitive small teen fashion doll market of the late 1950s. The robe is white cotton with a print of girl's heads wearing a red and white polka dot scarf or kerchief. (The print always reminds me of Poor Pitiful Pearl, another doll of the era modeled after the cartoon character by William Steig; she wore a red polka dot kerchief just like this one.)This robe was style #3305 and was sold on its own. The coordinating pajamas were sold separately as #3304. I don't have the PJs, but if you need the robe, here it is. This piece is in very good, gently played with condition. No holes or tears, snap works great. Faint red color transfer on the white, very minor (see close up). Original Vogue tag still in place inside. Nonsmoking estate.
