WFL Ludwig 16"x16" Floor Tom. White Marine Pearl (WMP). Red ink stamp inside shell reads: AUG 1. 1958.. Top and Bottom Re-Rings.. 100% ORIGINAL down to the heads and leg feet. I believe this to be the 1955 to 1959 Keystone Badge....-Has a Large "16" on the shell. looks like grease pencil?..... Heres a list of the PROS & CONS.. first CONS:.. wmp covering has yellowed. Original patina on all hrdwr. doesn't look like anyone had tried to clean this drum, possibly ever?.. Some of the orginal heads' white coating has stuck to the bearing edges.. Original feet (present), but are loose fitting. they fall off, so I have electrical tape holding them onto legs. top hoop/rim has one small dent about the size of a 'bb' (bb gun bb)... Some brown marks/scuffs on covering...... *I am 'Not' an expert on Vintage Ludwigs, but I believe this to be an 'All Original' drum* ....... PROS:... Original Muffler system present and working, including outer knob.. Nothing loose, missing, or broken. "WFL Drum Co." engraved on each leg mount.. Spring-Loaded leg mounts...Covering is NOT lifting or damaged anywhere. brown marks/scuffs mentioned are slight and not really that noticable unless closely scrutinized. ABSOLUTELY NO RUSTING/PITTING Anywhere on the hardware, which is what I was most impressed with being, 53 yrs old.. Bearing edges where heads meet shell read more
