!!!!! STUNNING PIECE - OUTRAGEOUS BARGAIN !!!!! MOST OF YOU KNOW HOW OBNOXIOUSLY TOUGH THE BIG 2 HAVE GOTTEN ON THE CAMEO DESIGNATIONS!! They are always trying to split the very fine hairs at that imaginary borderline between cameo and non-cameo and of course between one numerical grade and the next higher grade!! When they err, it is always on the ultra conservative side, and in my professional opinion they are currently making a lot of those errors. Check out this one just back from PCGS grading…it will certainly drive this point home!!! THIS COIN IS ABSOLUTELY A RARE FULL CAMEO 1959 MEGA-GRADE HALF!!!! Good chance that you recognize the value ..1959 is exceptionally scarce with cameo devices like this and most are much lower on the numerical grade scale. This piece is a really OUTSTANDING “CAMEO” example of a 1959 Franklin half dollar! !!!! I REALLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT PCGS WAS THINKING WHEN THEY SNUBBED THIS ONE !!!! The mirrors are those truly superb deeeeep “jet black holes” which occur only the earliest strikes of fresh dies. THE DEVICES ON BOTH SIDES HAVE FROST WHICH BORDERS ON EXTRA HEAVY!!! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS…THAT SUPERB WHITE FROST SET AGAINST THOSE “BLACK HOLE” MIRRORS MAKES FOR A HEAVY+++ CAMEO CONTRAST. The surfaces of this beauty are incredibly pristine PCGS 67! SPECTACULAR EYE APPEAL! T is absolutely no haze or toning on this splendid PURE WHITE beauty. This coin should put a heck of a smile on your face! MONSTER value relative to a PCGS example with that elusive word on the holder! With the cameo designation, this coin would sell easily for $500! In fact, that is the wholesale value of a PCGS PR67Cam Franklin of this date.
