ANTIQUE - VINTAGE Homer Laughlin blue skytone set. Backmark reads Skytone Homer Laughlin and A 59 N 4 The decal is called Stardust which was popular in the 1940s and 1950s. As far as I know the A means made in January, 59 means made in 1959, N means plant #4 and I am not sure what the last 4 means. This is an odd lot. The dishes are in very good shape with platinum trim which shows some wear. T are very light utensil marks on the plate's decal and 1 nick in the trim of one of the plates and one quarter inch chip under the rim on one of the plates. You get 4 dinner plates ( diameter 10 inches); 3 one-handle soup bowls (diameter 6 inches not including handle) 2 cups, 5 cake or side plates that measure 6.25 inches and only 1 saucer. Unfortunately one of the shelves in my studio decided to break and I lost the rest of my 6 place setting set. You are getting a bargain for VINTAGE Homer Laughlin China.
